Location: U.S. Bank parking lot, just north
of Hunan's Chinese Restaurant
Date/Time of Occurrence: Monday, September 23, 2013, several
minutes after 12 noon
Crime: Strong Arm Robbery
Amount of Loss: Undisclosed
Items Stolen: Victim's purse, wallet and bank deposit
Information Sought: Identity of Robber, identity of Get-A-Way
Car Driver and Vehicle information.

A few minutes after Noon
a female Victim with a long dark ponytail wearing a royal blue
employee's vest exited her black pickup truck which parked facing
Hunan's Restaurant and began walking toward the U.S. Bank main
entrance. Suddenly, a male Suspect wearing a gray hoodie and
jeans approached the Victim and grabbed her shoulder bag and
began to wrestle it away from her.
A brief struggle ensued,
during which the Suspect sprayed pepper spray into the eyes of
the Victim, partially blinding her. As the struggle continued,
a Good Samaritan approached and yelled at the Suspect, whereupon
the Suspect gave a final hard pull on the shoulder bag, pulling
the Victim to the ground and pulling the bag away from her.
The Suspect then ran toward
Paseo del Pueblo Sur, which he ran across and proceeded in a
westerly direction, across a parking lot north of 5 Star Burgers.
He then continued west to Reed Street and on to Alexander Street
where jumped into a gray 4-door Mitsubishi type car. This vehicle
was driven by a female.
As this crime occurred
at noontime, on a busy Monday just outside the windows of a busy
restaurant, many people must have seen at least part of this
